About the Event

Come join us for a day of fun and exploration at our first Baggotonia Community Expo. The Expo is a free event for the people of Baggotonia and will feature a range of local businesses, voluntary groups and local resources who will be on hand to showcase their services and provide useful information about what’s happening in our community.

Expo participants will include your local Residents’ Associations, Sports Clubs, Schools, Voluntary Groups, Service providers of Training & Education, Arts & Crafts, Health & Wellness services across the Baggotonia area.

There will be A Children’s Art Exhibit and Face-Painting for kids.

This is a great opportunity to connect with your fellow Baggotonians and discover some of the wonderful gems Baggotonia has to offer.

Teas, coffee and light refreshments will be served throughout the course of the day – kindly sponsored by The Dylan hotel.

What is a Community Expo?

A community expo is an event that brings together local businesses, organisations, and community members to showcase products, services, and resources available in the area. It serves as a platform for networking, promoting local initiatives and fostering connections within the community.

Expos feature booths, demonstrations and activities that engage attendees and provide information on various aspects of community life, such as health, education, arts, and culture.

These events aim to strengthen community bonds, support local businesses, and raise awareness about what’s important to the community.

Event Details

Time: The Community Expo opens from 11AM.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with a range of diverse organisations, pick up some tips, grab some discounts, sign up to a new hobby or simply hang out in the recently developed St. Mary’s Wild Garden – The Zen Zone – a little green sanctuary in the heart of Baggotonia.

This event is kindly organised on behalf of Baggotonia Festival by Mandala Yoga Dublin - a friendly and welcoming yoga community that hosts regular classes for all abilities in the Parish Centre.
