The heart of the Community strand is the creative community and Spirit of Baggotonia. This area was Dublin’s creative heartland, a Bohemian Corner of Dublin in the 1950s and 1960s and is today a thriving and multi-cultural district of the city.
The Community strand will centre on aspects of the Festival including the Children's Art Competition, The Vintage Car Exhibition and the many Walks & Talks of the Festival Programme 2026.
Expect to see lots of Purple on Baggot Street as the schools, local businesses, restaurants and bars embrace the Spirit of Baggotonia.
