Baggotonia Festival 2024 will take place predominantly on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st of September on Dublin's Baggot Street Upper.
The inaugural Baggotonia Festival is an exciting celebration of the community, history, arts, culture, entertainment and people - past, present and future – in the area emanating from Baggot Street Bridge - an area known as Baggotonia.
Baggotonia Festival is anchored in a rich culture of writers, artists, actors, film makers and more. The Culture strand of the festival includes plein air painting, a book of the festival launch, poetry and oral history. Check out the festival schedule here.

Baggotonia Festival Celebrations will see local bars, hotels and restaurants host activities on Friday and Saturday nights of the Festival, 20th and 21st September 2024 with live music, poetry, performance and more.
The Waterloo bar will lead celebrations on Friday 20th and Searsons bar will lead celebrations on Saturday 21st.

There are three strands to the Baggotonia Festival: Community, Culture and Celebration. At the heart of the Community aspect of the festival is a Community Expo to be held at St. Mary’s Church Hall on Haddington Road. Local organisations and community groups interested in participating in the Expo are invited to contact the organisers by email; community@baggotonia-festival.com
We are also hosting a Children’s Art Exhibit for local schoolchildren to paint scenes from across Baggotonia.
